Mr. Caleb Ramos

Hello! My name is Caleb Ramos, and I am your new 3rd Grade at EverGreen Academy. I earned a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts to teach from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, in 2020 becoming the first-generation college graduate of my family.

Before coming to teach at Evergreen I was a full-time carpenter since I was in high school. If you ask me about woodwork, remodeling, or general construction I can give advice but it’s all teaching from here! I’ve taught inner city Milwaukee, and for Kenosha Unified School District. My experience has made me a person that just loves interacting, helping, and creating a positive space for everyone to thrive in.

I was born and raised in Kenosha, WI (not a fan of any of the local teams. I regret nothing!) Outside of work, I love recreational sports and activities. If it’s a ball, puck, frisbee, anything the get the blood pumping even if I need to practice it more than once. I’m a very enthusiastic and avid consumer of films, books, & music. I am married to my better half Joselyn & we share a beautiful family of our two boys Nino & Judah. Building healthy relationships in the classroom is the cornerstone of my teaching style, right next to cultivating strong, conscious, & joyful students. My motto is “Work without recognition—help without reason—teach with joy, because today I woke up this morning!”
