Ms. Genevieve Cruz

Hello, my name is Genevieve Cruz, and I am the Physical Education teacher at Evergreen Middle School. I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and joined Evergreen in 2025. 

I played soccer at the University of Nebraska and the University of Northern Iowa before finishing my degree in Psychology at Clarke University. Being a student athlete taught me a lot about teamwork, perseverance, and staying active. These are lessons I love sharing with my students. 

Outside of school, I enjoy making custom rugs, playing soccer, and playing softball. I’m excited to be part of the Evergreen community and can’t wait for a great year with our students and families.
