Mrs. Dawn Koker
Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Dawn Koker, and I am one of the kindergarten teachers here at EverGreen. I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. I worked for the Kenosha Unified School District for 15 years and during that time I was a substitute, taught 3rd grade, kindergarten, and 4K (10 years). In 2022, I took a position as a math interventionist (through Mrs. Meyers Learning Lab) here at EverGreen. I am excited to be back in the classroom this year with our younger learners and to be a part of the EverGreen staff!
When I am not at school I love to spend time with my husband, Matthew and my three kids (Mariah, Tyler, and Cameron). We also have two Huskies (Cooper and Dakota) and a cat (Sugar). We are huge "movie buffs" and love to go to concerts and comedy shows. We are also huge Packers fans!
Teaching has always been my passion and I am excited to be part of such a wonderful school and I am looking forward to another great school year!
