Ms. Mara Quinn
Director of Staff & Student Development
I was blessed to have been one of the original teachers at EverGreen Academy in Kindergarten, so this school is very near and dear to my heart. I am very excited to now be the Director of Student and Staff Development! I can’t wait to help support and advocate for student learning through training of curriculum and mentoring of staff.
A little bit about my educational background, I graduated with my associate’s degree of Early Childhood Education from Gateway Technical College. Went on to get my bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade from Lakeland University. I obtained my master’s degree of Education of Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. During these times I have worked in daycare. I have taught 4K-4th grade in both a traditional classroom setting, and part of a dual classroom setting. As well as tutoring students through a movement and technology-based reading program.
Outside of work I live in Waterford with my 3 boys; Baylee, Brayden, and Bentlyn. I am a complete boy mom and spend most of my time attending sporting events ranging from soccer and snowboarding to truck pulls and demolition derby’s. I love attending concerts of all genres and reading books (when I can find time).
